The Law School of the University of Missouri, Kansas City, renews its collaboration with Spoleto.
Second time in the city of the Festival for the welcome American guests who visited the Court and the Prosecutor’s Office, before the institutional greeting of the city in Municipality.
After the success of the first meeting in 2017, the group of lawyers, jurists and professors from the Continuing Education school of law of the University of Missouri, Kansas City USA, returns to Spoleto in 2019.
The educational visit to the city of the Festival was part of the training programs that take place annually in Europe (Oxford, Paris, Rome).
In the rich agenda of November 11, in collaboration with the Spoleto Bar Association, meetings with the President and Judges of the Court of Spoleto, which with enthusiasm and lively participation have exposed the functioning of the Italian law comparing it with American law.
At the Court of Spoleto the group of professionals was also able to attend live a hearing in a criminal trial, placing questions and actually participating in the work.
Following the visit to the evocative Palazzo della Procura, environment he has aroused curiosity and amazement for its incredible combination of law, art and history.
At the end of the morning the Mayor welcomed the American lawyers in the City Hall paying homage to them with the volume that tells the story of the Longobard Duchy and recalling its importance of the historic relationship between the United States and the city thanks to the work initiated by Maestro Gian Carlo Menotti.
This collaboration was born with the same spirit of closeness and collaboration between the two countries, and once again confirms the incredible potential of the city of Spoleto.
